No Sugar Apple Pancakes
Pancakes for your babyledweaner and family! These pancakes are fluffy and tasty without the sugar. Using natural flavours, these pancakes are sweet enough to eat plain. Recipe for 6mo+ makes between 8-10 pancakes. These pancakes freeze well.
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup full fat milk
- 1x egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup applesauce (prep: we made our own apple sauce so I knew it was 100% apple. I blended '1 can' 385 grams of granny smith apple slices and measured out 3/4 cup of applesauce. The rest of the sauce I stored away in the fridge)
- Step 1 Combine flour and baking powder into a medium mixing bowl.
- Step 2 In another bowl, combine milk, egg, vanilla extract and applesauce. Then gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Step 3 On medium heat stove top, on a greased (buttered) pan, spoon batter mix out, wait until you see bubbles appear on top of pancakes, then immediately flip the pancakes to cook the other side.
